Action Adventure Game

Level & Mechanics Designer

I prototyped the mechanics and blockmeshed this action-adventure level in September 2023. The level is set in a stylized ancient Greece and is inspired by the myth of Icarus. The player uses a magical grappling hook, inspired by the old sticky hand toys, to navigate the level.

Level Designer

I designed this level in April of 2023 for a third person adventure game. The level takes place in a completely AI-controlled factory, but budget cuts and a lack of human employees have led to a lack of codebase upkeep. Now, the AI has begun malfunctioning, destroying parts of the factory in the process. This level focused on puzzle design, so it was my responsibility to prototype and implement my own level mechanics. I created a pushable power source for the player to route electricity to different electronics. Power must be applied to the right electronics at the right times to solve puzzles and complete the level.
